Despite being a first-generation Pet Stylist, Gavyn has achieved remarkable accomplishments and accolades in his field. He is a grooming competitor with an impressive record of eight first-place trophies at GroomTeam USA Sanctioned events. In addition, he won Yellow-Rose Best in Show in 2022 at the U.S. Pet Pro Classic in Texas. He was also nominated for Barkleigh's Up and Coming Groomer of the Year award at Groom Expo in 2022 after his first year of competing. 

Moreover, Gavyn is an Owner-Handler in the AKC conformation ring where he shows his Kerry Blue Terrier and American Cocker Spaniel. He has a special love for grooming American Cocker Spaniels for the confirmation ring and is a member of the American Spaniel Club. We are fortunate to have Gavyn on our team and look forward to seeing his incredible talents in action.

Sierra Elbert has developed Groom Curriculum, a comprehensive program for students interested in pursuing a career in pet styling. With a focus on best practices and high standards, Groom Curriculum prepares graduates with the technical and soft skills necessary for the workforce. Elbert's mission to create a safer and more efficient work environment led her to introduce new tools, equipment, and shampoos to local groomers. Her ultimate goal is to see every community college nationwide offer a pet stylist program, ensuring the safety and education of new groomers using Groom Curriculum's curriculum.
